What is the best thing about your job? Having a friendly work environment where everyone has a passion for pets and their well-being.
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? Japan so I can experience the culture.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? I received my U.S. citizenship one year ago; most people assumed I was already a citizen.

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? A mixed breed dog named MAX.
What pet do you WISH you had? A trained wild Owl.
What is the best thing about your job? Being able to truly help both the clinics and animals. And, of course, the people I work with.
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? Africa, for a Photo Safari.
If you could be anything in the world when you “grow up”, what would it be? Either a jazz saxophonist or a photographer for National Geographic.

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? I have a dog named Dublin. Dublin is a pound puppy and a full-bred mutt. I also have 2 tarantulas named Peter and Parker.
What pet do you WISH you had? I wish I had a dolphin. I enjoy surfing and kayaking and since dolphins are like the “dogs” of the sea (playful and fun loving) it would be fun to have one come along on my surfing and kayaking trips.
What’s the best thing you ever heard from one of your clinics? Can we have you home delivered?
What is the best thing about your job? The environment here is the best part of this job. We are a company that helps clinics and their clients and everyone here loves doing just that.
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? I have been to a few and traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I will be heading to Ireland at the end of the year.

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? Black lab named Butkus and three cats named Onyx, Samson and Felix.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? If it is not one of my cats pawing at my face or dog jumping on my bed, then it is definitely my love for animals and my friends and family I share my life with.
What’s the best thing you ever heard from one of your clinics? They always look forward to my visits, and especially the candy and lunches I bring in!
What is the best thing about your job? I get to meet some of the greatest people in the animal health business who share my love for animals on a daily basis.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? I have a twin that is my complete opposite in every way possible!
Dawn Hickman
What type of pet do you have and what is its name? Nicole is neurotic yet very lovable 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? Many years of having horses to feed and stalls to clean.
What is the best thing about your job? I’m a former Vet Tech and I love that my job allows me to stay connected to the Veterinary world. I get to talk with people I have so much in common with on a daily basis. I also love learning about all of the practices I work with and what makes them tick as well as helping them find solutions to their everyday pharmacy hassles!
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? I have been banned from cooking. It’s in everyone’s best interest.
If you could be anything in the world when you “grow up”, what would it be? I’d be independently wealthy, practicing equine veterinary medicine on the side for fun!

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? Yellow Labrador named Holly and a cat named Mr. Guinness.
What pet do you WISH you had? A Serval would be really cool.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? A 5 mile run at 5:30am.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? I was accepted into vet school and decided not to go.
If you could be anything in the world when you “grow up”, what would it be? A great father one day.
Deanna Ramsey-Mootoo
What type of pet do you have and what is its name? A 115lb Rottweiler named Skittles. He’s a boy. Very masculine.
What pet do you WISH you had? A chimpanzee. I’ve always wanted one!
What is the best thing about your job? The best thing about my job is that I get to provide a service that I truly do believe in.
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? I love to travel, and love to visit new places, but the one place that I want to see more than any other is Egypt. Ancient Egyptian history is so fascinating, I would love to see the pyramids and visit the museums full of ancient Egyptian artifacts.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? If I had to sum myself up in just a few words, they would be “Proud Navy veteran, proud Navy wife.” My family and friends all know this, but one thing that a lot of people aren’t aware of is that I served for nearly 8 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy. My military service is a huge part of who I am, and the one thing that I am most proud of in my life.

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? I have 2 Shih Tzu’s, Gir & Holden. One DSH cat Mocha and some fish.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? My two year old son.
What is the best thing about your job? That I still get to work in the veterinary field that I love, work with great people and get to talk & help hundreds of clinics practice better medicine.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? The one thing I want to do before I die is swim with sharks (preferably a great white).
If you could be anything in the world when you “grow up”, what would it be? A reporter/photographer for National Geographic.

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? Dog - English Bullmastiff named Elvis.
What’s the best thing you ever heard from one of your clinics? We like you and what you do for us.
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? China – it appeals to my sense of nostalgia to venture back and see where I, and my family originated from and to see the changes and difference in culture.
Who is your favorite musician or band? Elivs Presley and U2.
What is the best book you ever read? Anything written by John Grisham or David Balacci - most applicable Tsun Tsu "The Art of War".

What type of pet do you have and what is its name? I have 2 bearded dragons and their names are Ignignokt and Er.
What pet do you WISH you had? A Dinosaur, preferably a Leopluradon.
What’s the best thing you ever heard from one of your clinics? “I don’t know how these future boxes work (referring to his computer)!”
If you could pick one country in the world to visit, which one would it be and why? I would go to Japan to meet my family and experience the culture.
What is an interesting thing about you that few people know? I still very much enjoy watching Saturday morning cartoons.
