Veterinary-Only Pharmacy Staff.
Our experienced pharmacy staff ensures that each prescription is accurately filled. All prescriptions are inspected at least three times prior to shipping, assuring that all orders are correct.
Carrie Assar, PharmD
Pharmacist-In-Charge
Carrie has been a practicing Veterinary Pharmacist for 3 years and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland. Carrie loves that her job enables her to help sick animals. Her dog named Ruby is a frequent visitor to the office.
Cindy Chu, PharmD
Staff Pharmacist
Cindy has been a practicing Veterinary Pharmacist for 5 years. Cindy provides quality assurance reviews for prescriptions and answers medication questions from our partner clinics. She holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University Of Maryland School Of Pharmacy and chose a career in Veterinary pharmacology because of her great love of dogs. She has a dog named Missy and a snake named Jake.
Pete Do, PharmD
Compounding Pharmacist
Pete has been a practicing Licensed Pharmacist for 5 years. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland. Being a veterinary pharmacist allows Pete to combine his love of pets with his interest in pharmaceutical compounding. He has a household of pets including two cats (Weapon X and Buster) and two dogs (Shadow and Sable).
Jacob Raitt, PhD
Staff Pharmacist
Jacob’s more than 50 years in veterinary medicine makes him the perfect person to oversee our quality assurance process. He holds degrees from the State of NY, Columbia University, and The Ohio State University. Jacob loves cats and he has four that keep him company, Belle, Kaia, Merton and Smoke.
Amy Sion, PharmD
Compounding Pharmacist
Amy holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from San Diego State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado. She was also a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology at the National Institutes of Health. Amy finds it very rewarding to be able to make unique medications that help pets stay healthy. Awaiting Amy at the end of a long day are her two Brittany Spaniels named Bailey and Anna and a cat named Benji.
