Ted Root

President and Chief Executive Officer

Ted Root joined VetCentric as President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2008. He manages all aspects of the company’s strategic and daily operations. Ted brings the VetCentric community over 20 years of leadership in fast growth, technology-based companies. Previous roles include President and CEO of VitesseLearning, one of North America's leading e-learning development companies and COO of Thomson Prometric, the world’s largest provider of computer-based testing services. He has also worked in the supply chain and professional services sectors with Ernst & Young, Sara Lee and Hyatt Hotels. Ted earned a BA with Honors from Connecticut College and an MBA from The University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.

Ted has a full house of pets including Bubba (a Swissie), Mousse (“American Mixed Breed”--aka mutt!) and Rocky (a Tabby).

Chief Marketing Officer

Len Ostroff brings more than 20 years of financial, operational, technical, marketing and deal-making experience to his role leading the marketing efforts at VetCentric. Previously, Len served as President and CEO of Rovion, Inc., the leading creator of technologies that humanize the delivery of content to online audiences, and co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair Ventures, Inc., the corporate venture capital arm of Sinclair Broadcast Group. Len has also held senior level positions and managed large-scale technology implementations at Prudential Securities, VIPS (acquired by WebMD) and Accenture. He graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in Business and Economics and a minor in Computer Science.

Milo, Len’s 2 year old Black Lab-Great Dane that he adopted from the SPCA, is a frequent guest at VetCentric.

Chief Information Officer

Ted brings more than 15 years of senior information technology (IT) leadership experience to VetCentric's executive management team. He provides the technology vision and guidance for developing and implementing IT initiatives company wide. Prior to joining VetCentric, Ted was the Director of the Internet Technologies Department at RWD Technologies, where he led a 40-person consulting group, providing design, development, and deployment of quality web-based products/solutions to drive revenue and improve performance for Fortune 1000 companies. He has also held senior engineering and management positions at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and General Dynamics. Ted received a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Chief Financial Officer

Bob Vollono is responsible for all finance and accounting operations, business forecasting, budgeting and auditing. Before joining VetCentric in 2003, he served as CFO for companies including Gould Fiber Optics, a provider of advanced integrated optic solutions for the telecommunications industry and Credit Management Solutions, Inc., where he led a successful IPO. Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Management from St. Francis University and attended graduate school at George Washington University.

Bob and his wife have had a number of dogs over the past 30 years, the most recent of which was a golden retriever, which lived to the ripe old age of 14 (98 in dog years!).

Elizabeth L. DeLomba

Elizabeth L. DeLomba

DVM, Executive Director of Veterinary Services

Dr. Elizabeth DeLomba joined VetCentric in 2000 after practicing in small-animal clinics in Pennsylvania for more than a decade. At VetCentric, she oversees the professional services staff of veterinarians and pharmacists and has served as manager of prescription processing and senior staff veterinarian. She serves as a veterinary consultant to the marketing group and is responsible for product evaluation for the VetCentric catalog. Elizabeth received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University, a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Smith College.

Elizabeth’s household is run by 2 demanding felines and a Cocker Spaniel who is quite confident that Greenies come directly from heaven.
